Vehicle Appeals

INFORMATION ON VEHICLE APPEALS

An appeal of your vehicle value will initiate a review of the fair market value by a representative of the Fulton County Board of Assessors. Be prepared to provide documentation of current repair estimates, prior completed repairs, and photos of vehicle damage. Your most recent vehicle renewal notice and/or bill of sale will also be requested. The appraisal staff will consider the items listed below in order to determine if an adjustment to your vehicle value is warranted:
1. Excessive mileage on the vehicle
2. Current vehicle body damage
3. Current vehicle mechanical issues
4. Prior damage/repairs that may have caused diminished value
